Recircle Awards 2023: the categories
For this edition of the Recircle Awards, there are 15 categories open to public vote, which are listed below:
Tyre Pyrolysis Award, to reward companies that have distinguished themselves in the field of pyrolysis of end-of-life tyres.
Tyre Devulcanisation Award, this recognition concerns the devulcanisation of end-of-life tyres. Devulcanization is a rubber treatment that aims to break the chemical bond between rubber and sulfur. This joint makes the rubber very elastic and resistant.
Mechanical Tyre Recycling Award, The Mechanical Tyre Recycling Award is given to companies that mechanically treat worn tyres. This is the category in which you can vote us, following this link.
Best Tread Rubber Supplier, for the best rubber tread suppliers.
Best Retreading Equipment Supplier and Best Retreading Accessory and Consumables Supplier, are two categories that reward respectively the best suppliers of equipment and accessories for tyres retreading.
Best Tyre Recycling Industry Supplier, which includes companies supplying equipment for end-of-life tyres recycling.
Best Tyre Derived Recycled Product, for the best output materials after tyres processing.
Circular Economy Award.
Best Tyre Recycling Research Project, to reward the best tyre recycling project.
Best EPR Scheme, the award for the best method on extended producer responsibility.
Best Passenger Retreader, Best Truck & Bus Retreader, Best OTR Retreader are prizes that will be awarded to the best car passenger, trucks, buses and OTR tyre rebuilders.
Employee of the Year, Best Company Director, Lifetime Achievement Award in the Tyre Recycling Sector, Lifetime Achievement Award in the Tyre Retreading Sector are awards given directly to people, for their constant commitment in companies in the sector.
